FACULTY POSITIONS

Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH), South Korea 


The Department of Life Sciences in conjunction with the Division of Integrative Biosciences and Biotechnology(IBB),  and the School of Interdisciplinary Bioscience and Bioengineering at Pohang University of Science & Technology (POSTECH) is seeking to appoint outstanding scholars to tenure-track or tenured faculty positions beginning in March 2016.


Qualified applicants with an outstanding record of research accomplishments in 1) Systems Biology, 2) Bioinformatics, and 3) mathematical biology or related area are highly encouraged to apply. Candidate(s) should be committed to pursuing multidisciplinary research and education. The position and salary will be commensurate with a candidate’s experience and record. The successful candidates can be appointed jointly to more than one department. Please note the application package must be submitted via post, and submitted documents will not be returned.


Qualifications


Individuals who have earned a doctoral degree in Science or Engineering are invited to apply. The successful candidate should be able to teach courses in English.

Each candidate should submit an application package by 6PM, June 5, 2015(based on Korean Standard Time), which consists of (1) a curriculum vitae including the list of publications, (2) a statement of education/research in the past, and plan for the future, and (3) the list of three references with their contact information, (4) Consent for collection and use of personal information(Attachment: POSTECH form)
